SPECIALIZED CARE
Who I Work With
I work with self-aware, insightful adults who often have a history with therapy but find themselves stuck. You likely understand your challenges logically, yet still struggle to transform deep-seated emotional patterns. This intersection of insight and feeling is where we do our best work. I am here to help.
Areas of Focus & Care
Depression
Moving beyond the heavy fog. We work collaboratively to reconnect with your vitality and address the somatic roots of low mood, helping you find a sustainable path back to yourself.
PTSD & Trauma
Using attachment-focused EMDR and somatic work, we process the 'stuck' memories that disrupt your present safety, moving toward a nervous system that feels truly regulated and secure.
Anxiety
Quiet the internal noise. We speak to the intelligent self to understand your worry patterns while integrating body-based tools to anchor you in the here and now.
Childhood Trauma & Self-Esteem
Addressing the lasting impacts of early attachment wounds. We rebuild your sense of worthy self-esteem by healing the past's echoes in your adult life with warmth and collaborative depth.
Emotional Regulation
Using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, we will learn concrete skills of emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.Â
Grief
A space for the unhurried heart. We offer a compassionate container for your loss, honoring the non-linear process of bereavement while helping you integrate change with profound kindness.

Creating Safety Together
Our first meeting is about collaborative exploration. We create a warm, non-judgmental space where your nervous system can begin to feel supported as we discuss your history and goals through a trauma-informed lens.

New Client FAQ
What can I expect in our first session together?
The first session is a gentle space for us to begin building safety and connection. In this 90-minute session, we'll discuss what brings you in, your history, and how we might work together using attachment-focused and somatic lenses. It's a collaborative time where you can also gauge how my approach feels for your nervous system.
How does EMDR differ from traditional talk therapy?
While talk therapy focuses on cognitive insight, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) works directly with how memories are stored in your brain and body. By using bilateral stimulation, we help your nervous system process 'stuck' experiences so they no longer trigger the same level of distress in your daily life.
What if I'm used to being the 'helper' and feel strange receiving support?
This is a common experience for the therapists and caregivers I work with. I encourage my helpers to bring these manager parts to sessions so that we may get to know them, tend to them, and befriend them. Our work may focus on showing gratitude towards your caregiving parts while accessing other parts that may have been forgotten.Â
How long does the therapy process typically take?
Healing is a non-linear journey that depends on your unique goals and history. While some clients find relief with EMDR intensives in a shorter timeframe, others prefer ongoing attachment-focused work for sustained growth. We will regularly check in to ensure our work continues to meet your needs.
Are somatic practices involved in every session?
Because trauma is stored in the body, somatic (body-based) awareness is woven into our work naturally. We might notice sensations, check in with your breathing, or use grounding techniques. This is always collaborative; we only go as deep into somatic work as you feel safe doing.
