For high-functioning adults, burnout often disguises itself as productivity. You’re the one everyone leans on, the one who 'handles it all,' yet internally, the flame has gone out. Day-to-day, this shows up as a heavy, persistent exhaustion that sleep doesn't touch, a loss of joy in things you once loved, and a nervous system that feels constantly braced for the next demand.

The Path to Regulation
My approach to treating stress and burnout is deeply relational and rooted in the wisdom of your nervous system. We don't just talk about the exhaustion; we work to understand the physiological 'stuckness' that keeps you in survival mode. By integrating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with parts work (IFS-informed therapy), we address the underlying trauma and over-functioning patterns that drive burnout.
Together, we focus on nervous system regulation—learning how to move from a state of constant high-alert or total shutdown back into a place of safe, grounded connection. This work honors the brilliant ways your system has tried to protect you, while gently creating the space for a new way of being: one defined by curiosity, rest, and genuine self-compassion.

We start with a 15-minute consultation to ensure we're a good fit. This work is relational; feeling safe with your therapist is the foundation of nervous system regulation.
02. Mapping the System
We explore your current burnout patterns and history. We look at who you've had to be to survive, mapping out 'parts' of you that are stuck in high-functioning exhaustion.
03. Embodied Regulation
Using EMDR and parts work, we process old beliefs that keep you stuck. You'll learn tools to soothe your nervous system in real-time when stress feels overwhelming.
04. Integration & Expansion
This is where the shift happens day-to-day. You move out of survival mode and into a life where you feel connected, present, and truly at home in your own body.
